Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 11/9/23
Summer came back on Thursday, but it brought a strong wind in the morning and that was enough to keep the boats at the dock ion Lewes and Indian River.
Old Inlet Bait and Tackle said tog were caught from the rocks at Indian River Inlet on green crabs and sand fleas. I feel sure a few striped bass will be caught at night from the jetties on white bucktails with a white worm.
Saw a post from the Sea Jay II where Captain Jamar and Mate “Hollywood”, also known as Robbie, put Ralph and Nick from Shorts Roofing along with Saad, Reggie, Elijah and Dave on a boat limit of sea bass, plus some nice, thick flounder along with some porgies and bluefish last Sunday.
This is a good time of year to fish fresh water. White Clay Creek has been stocked with trout and some big crappie, pickerel and bass are being caught in local ponds.
