Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 11/1/23
Wednesday it blew like snot, a description I have never quite understood. The ocean and bay were rougher than a cob. That one I do understand.
You would think that having lived in Delaware for most of my 81 years I would be used to this summer to winter overnight shift we get every year, but no, it always catches me with my winter clothes put away and only summer clothes to wear.
I have the latest MRIP numbers through Wave 4 for Delaware. If you want a good laugh, Delaware party boats harvested 7 summer flounder through August. However, we caught and released 82,726 black sea bass from shore of which we harvested 267. As you know, I do fishing reports and have for years. I have yet to record a keeper black sea bass caught from shore.
