Small craft advisories finally came down on Tuesday, but only a few boats ran to the ocean. I could find no reports of any boats fishing in Delaware Bay.

Lewes Harbour Marina said the Grizzly ran on Tuesday, but had not reported back when I called.

Breakwater Tackle on the fishing pier at Cape Henlopen State Park said it was a slow day on the pier. There were a few throwback flounder caught on minnows and some spot taken on bloodworms and Fishbites.

Old Inlet Bait and Tackle said the inlet rocks provided good action with lots of small tog caught on sand fleas and green crabs. There were quite a few sheepshead caught on the same baits. From the photos I saw these are not huge fish, but certainly big enough to make the trip worthwhile.

Hook 鈥榚m and Cook 鈥榚m had the first ocean report we have had in a very long time. The Bill Slayer brought in 60 dolphin on Tuesday.
