Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 09/19/24
Wednesday, we added a little rain to the small craft advisories.
In spite of the rain and the wind Old Inlet Bait and Tackle reported that George Chiartias went fishing at Indian River Inlet and was rewarded with a 1.7-pound croaker.
Lewes Harbour Marina told us about a couple of big fish caught by ladies while fishing on the Grizzly with Captain Carry Evans last week when the weather was much nicer. Brandie Haddaway landed a 7.2-pound flounder and Elizabeth Bleinstine had a massive 6-pound weakfish.
For those who might be interested in the plans for stabilizing the beach north of Indian River Inlet, DNREC will hold a community information session on Tuesday, September, 24 from 5:00 to 7:30 p.m. at the Bethany Beach Town Hall, 214 Garfield Parkway.
