There will be no municipal election on July 1st in Slaughter Beach. Just two candidates filed for two open seats. Jamie Draper and incumbent Harry Ward and will be sworn in to two year terms at the July Town Council meeting. Larry Meinert did not run for re-election. .

No Election December 4 in Dagsboro

Dagsboro town officials tell WGMD there will not be an election in Dagsboro on December 4. There were three seats up for election. Incumbents Brian Baull and Theresa Ulrich have been returned to their seats. Patrick Miller did not file for re-election, however William Labor was the only candidate to file for the remaining seat.

The deadline to file as a candidate for the Slaughter Beach town council was Friday – and Town Clerk, Kathy McFadden tells WGMD there will be no election on July 6th. There were two open seats and the two incumbents – Harry Ward and Rebecca Craft – were the only candidates who filed.
