A 60 year old Sussex County man is the first human case of West Nile Virus in Delaware this year.  Delaware Public Health officials say he was briefly hospitalized in July – the blood test was confirmed by the CDC.  There have been two crows in Sussex County that have tested positive for the illness and sentinel chickens around the state have also have virus-positive tests.  The first Triple-E-positive sentinel chicken was also found earlier this month in Sussex County.
