Sussex County Council to Start at 9am with P&Z Subdivision Appeal

The Sussex County Council meets on Tuesday – but this week the meeting will begin at 9am. The Council will hear an appeal of the County Planning Commission’s denial of the Stillwater Harbor Subdivision. (Oak Orchard area).

When the Council begins its regular meeting they will revisit two pieces of Old Business – a Conditional Use application No. 2350 for a 2-unit multi-family dwelling in the area of Beaver Dam and Hopkins Roads and Ordinance 23-11 to amend the future land use map for the same parcel of property in the Conditional Use.

There are also two public hearings in the afternoon session. One is a resolution to provide fire fighting services and approving the issuance of certain bonds or notes by the Dagsboro Volunteer Fire Department. The other is a Conditional Use application, No 2351, for a landscaping business north of the Zoar and Gravel Hill Roads intersection.

The Sussex County Council meets Tuesday at 9am in the County Administration Building on The Circle in Georgetown.
