Sussex County Council to Revisit Terrapin Island Subdivision Appeal and Discuss Workforce Housing & Proposed Property Tax Credit for Disabled Veterans

The Sussex County Council will revisit the appeal on the Planning & Zoning Commission’s decision to approve the Terrapin Island subdivision which was argued last week.

County Administrator Todd Lawson will have a presentation on workforce housing with possible discussion.

Finance Director Gina Jennings will discuss and possibly introduce a proposed ordinance that would bring a property tax credit for disabled veterans who are residents of Sussex County.

The Council will also revisit two conditional use and one change of zone application in Old Business. There is no afternoon session scheduled this week.

The Council meets at its regular time – 10am on Tuesday in the County Administration Building on the Circle in Georgetown.
