Sussex County Council to Meet Tuesday Morning
The Sussex County Council is back in session in Georgetown this week. County Administrator Todd Lawson will recognize the Sussex County EMS Team for their gold medal in the recent JEMS Games – this was postponed from the May 9th meeting. In Old Business the Council will revisit Conditional Use No 2336 on behalf of Community Power Group, LLC for a solar farm west of Laurel in the area of Woodland Ferry and Bethel Roads. The Council deferred action on this after a public hearing in late January.
There are 5 public hearings during the afternoon session – 4 of them Conditional Use applications and one Change of Zone – which will begin at 1:30. The County Council meeting begins at 10am Tuesday in the County Administration office on The Circle in Georgetown.
