Sussex County Council to Hold Public Hearing on MOU Between Sussex County & DelDOT
The Sussex County Council will meet Tuesday morning in Georgetown. The Council will hear a presentation by Delaware Electric Cooperative President & CEO, Bill Andrew. Then at 10:30, the Council will hold a public hearing on a proposed Memorandum of Understanding between the County and DelDOT regarding the process of land use applications. The current MOU, which is required by Delaware Code, dates back to 1988 – an update is required

There are four public hearing in the afternoon session.
Conditional Use No. 2199 for OA-Rehoboth, LLC – for a multi-family housing – 224 units – in a C-1 Commercial Residential District near the intersection of Route 24 and Warrington Road east of Rehoboth.
Change of Zone No. 1900 for Michael Justice, Trustee for a General Residential District to a General Residential District – Residential Planned Community for just over 16 acres on Parker House Road south of Beaver Dam Road south of Ocean View.
Change of Zone No 1901 / Conditional Use No 2200 for Mary and Victor Rico for land zoned AR 1 to MR Medium-Density Residential District for 7 multi-family units. on Route 24 north east of Camp Arrowhead Road west of Lewes.
