Sussex County Council to Hold Multiple Public Hearings Tuesday – Including Council Redistricting
The Sussex County Council meets Tuesday morning in Georgetown. There are several public hearings on the agenda for the morning session – including an ordinance to amend the FY 2022 Operating Budget to incorporate additional realty transfer tax revenue and state passthorough grant revenue, two bond issues and at 10:30am – a public hearing on the councilmanic redistricting.
County Engineer, Hans Medlarz will discuss, with possible introduction, an ordinance to authorize a bond issuance in connection with the Long Neck Communities Septic Elimination Project.
There are two public hearings during the afternoon session, beginning at 1:30. One is a Conditional Use No 2317 on behalf of William Martin for a sign and vehicle graphics business near the intersection of Wolfe Neck and Munchy Branch Roads near Rehoboth. The other is a Change of Zone No 1943 on behalf of Shirley & Gordon Price to rezone a parcel of less that 1 acre from AR-1 to C-2 medium commercial on the north side of Route 26 near the intersection of Roxana Road/Route 17.
The Sussex County Council meets at 10am in the County Administration Building on the Circle in Georgetown.
