Sussex County Council Public Hearing on Proposed Budget Tuesday Morning
This week the Sussex County Council will hold a public hearing on the proposed FY 2020 budget which is scheduled to begin at 10:15 Tuesday morning.
In other council action – they will hear a presentation on Balloons over Sussex by the Sussex Academy Foundation. Festival will be coming to Georgetown in September. There will be public interviews for two Board of Adjustment nominees – Dr. Kevin Carson and Jeff Chorman. The council will also hear on several items from County Engineer Hans Medlarz.
During the afternoon session there are three public hearings scheduled. Conditional Use No 2156 is for wellness classes on property in Milton on Coastal Highway just south of Hudson Road. A Change of Zone No 1876 from AR-1 to MR Medium-residential District and Conditional Use No 2169 for the same property – for just over 6 acres of property in the area of Savannah Road and Parker Run.
The Sussex County Council meeting begins at 10am Tuesday in the County Administration Offices on the Circle in Georgetown.
