Sussex County Council Meets at 1pm Tuesday

The Sussex County Council meets at 1pm tomorrow because of a short agenda.  The council will revisit a change of zone application for Old Orchard Ventures for a change from A-R 1 to C-2 for property on Old Orchard Road.  During last week’s public hearing area residents spoke against the application, which the Planning and Zoning Commission has recommended to deny.  The Council will also look at Councilman Doug Hudson’s nomination for the vacant seat on the P&Z and hear from Airport Manager Jim Hickin.  There are 3 public hearings on conditional use and change of zone applications in the afternoon session, which will begin after the regular council session is concluded.

The Sussex County Council will meet at 1pm in the council chambers on the Circle in Georgetown.
