Two suspects have been arrested and one remains at large in connection with a shooting at the Getaway Tavern near Ellendale.
According to Delaware State Police, the incident occurred just after 1 a.m. Saturday, June 1 when troopers were dispatched to the Gateway Tavern on DuPont Boulevard near Ellendale for reports of a shooting.
Troopers arrived and located a 38-year-old male victim outside who had been shot in his lower extremity by an unknown person. He was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Investigators identified three suspects: 36-year-old Reggie D. White of Lincoln; 38-year-old Curtis L. Taylor of Greenwood; 28-year-old Joshua A. Wright of Milford.
On Thursday, September 12, Curtis Taylor turned himself in and was charged with Riot-Intent to Commit Facilitate Commission of Felony or Misdemeanor, and Conspiracy Second Degree. He was arraigned and released on $5,000 unsecured bond.
The very next day, Reggie White also turned himself and was charged with Riot-Intent to Commit Facilitate Commission of Felony or Misdemeanor, Conspiracy Second Degree, and Assault Third Degree. He was arraigned and released on $6,000 unsecured bond.
Troopers have been unable to locate the third suspect, Joshua Wright who currently has active warrants for Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony, Possession of a Firearm by a Person Prohibited, Riot-Intent to Commit Facilitate Commission of Felony or Misdemeanor, Conspiracy Second Degree, and Assault Third Degree.
Wright is known to frequent the Milford and Lincoln areas.
