Suspect On the Run After Dover Convenience Store Robbery

Delaware State Police are investigating after a suspect robbed a convenience store on State Street in Dover on Tuesday night.

Troopers say the incident occurred around 11:33 p.m. at the Shore Stop at 2636 South State Street. They responded for a reported robbery and met with a store clerk who said an unknown suspect entered the business armed with a knife. The suspect then jumped on the counter and demanded money. The clerk complied with the demands and turned over an undisclosed amount of cash prior to the suspect fleeing the scene. The store clerk 聽was not injured.
