Suspect Arrested in 2010 Wicomico County Murder

Maryland State Police have arrested a suspect in a 2010 Wicomico County Cold Case murder. Troopers arrested 32 year old Ryan Ellis at his home in Princess Anne this morning on charges of 1st and 2nd degree murder. Ellis was recently indicted by a Wicomico County Grand Jury. Police were called to a home in Hebron around 4:30 the morning of January 17, 2010 for a shooting. The victim, 20 year old Preston Morehouse of Florida was found just inside the front door – and was pronounced dead at the scene. State Police developed Ellis as a suspect during their investigation. He is being held at the Wicomico County Detention Center without bond.
