Suspect Arrested For Pizza Shop Holdup
A Salisbury man is charged with a robbery at a local pizza restaurant.
According to Salisbury Police, two men who were working at Pizza City on East Carroll Street Sunday afternoon were confronted by a man with a handgun who demanded money. The suspect left after obtaining some cash.
An investigation led to 24-year-old Kendal Smiley being identified as a suspect. He was arrested at a motel on North Salisbury Boulevard a few hours after the robbery. Smiley is charged with rubbery and other offenses, as well as assault.
Salisbury Police say the investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information is asked to contact the Criminal Investigation Division or Maryland Crime Solvers at 410-548-1776.
