An Eastern Shore man is charged with murder, attempted murder and other offenses in connection with a double-shooting in Salisbury last week.

According to Maryland State Police, 25-year-old Damon Kirkland Hall of Cambridge was arrested Friday.
Hall was being held without bond.

The shooting was reported last Tuesday afternoon, as Salisbury Police were carrying out a welfare check at a residence on Martin Street. 42-year-old Emmanuel Jones later died in a hospital. A 50-year-old Salisbury woman is still being treated at the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

Hall is charged with first- and second-degree murder, attempted murder, first- and second-degree assault and multiple firearms-related charges.

Maryland State Police believe the victims were targeted and that it was not a random attack.

The investigation is continuing.
