Suspect Arrested, Another At Large Following Burglary-Assault At Laurel Motel

One person has been arrested and another suspect is still being sought in connection with a burglary and assault at Lakeside Motel on Sussex Highway in Laurel.
According to Delaware State Police, an investigation determined that the pair forced their way into a motel room that was occupied by an acquaintance Sunday night and assaulted the 25-year-old man. The victim declined medical attention at the scene for a head injury.
Police said 36-year-old Faedra Parker was one of the suspects, and that she drove away, accompanied by 33-year-old Junior Dorvillier of Seaford.
Parker turned herself in to Laurel Police Monday. She is charged with burglary, strangulation, conspiracy and assault. Parker has been released on her own recognizance.
Dorvillier is still at large. He is wanted for Burglary 1st聽Degree (Felony), Conspiracy 2nd聽Degree (Felony), and Offensive Touching. State Police said Dorvilier also has multiple active warrants for a vehicle pursuit that occurred in October 2021, Violation of Probation, and other court capiases.
