UPDATE: Roads Mainly Clear After This Week’s Storm Caused Flooding in Fenwick Island

UPDATE 1-11-24 –11:20 a.m.–Fenwick Island Mayor Natalie Magdeburger tells the Talk of Delmarva that the road conditions are much better today than yesterday, as much of the water on the roadways has been drained. You might find some puddles here and there but nothing that will impede driving.

This week’s storm caused extensive flooding on all bayside roads in Fenwick Island, according to the Town Government. Town officials say the dunes held but the tide did come to the dune fencing. Continue to use caution when driving in that area.
