State Fire Marshal Investigating Sunday Bridgeville House Fire

Bridgeville firefighters were called to a residential fire Sunday night just before 6 on Main Street in Bridgeville. Firefighters found a second floor bedroom on fire – additional companies were called to assist. The blaze was brought under control around 6:30, but firefighters remained on the scene for about 90 minutes. Town officials warned residents of possible water issues on the town system because of the fire.

The State Fire Marshal is investigating.
