State Fire Marshal Investigating Lincoln Area Fire at Ashley’s Christian Center

Ellendale firefighters were called for a fire at the Ashley’s Christian Center on Young Lane near Lincoln. Fire crews arriving on the scene found active ire inside the building, which was not occupied when the fire was discovered. State Fire Marshal investigators are on the scene looking for the cause and origin of the fire. Crews from Milton, Carlisle, Memorial and Georgetown assisted. No injuries were reported and damage to the interior of the building is estimated at $10,000.
