Sprinkler System Limits Fire Damage in Kings Grant near Fenwick

Delaware Fire Marshal investigators say a fire in the Kings Grant community near Fenwick Island just after 7 Friday morning caused little damage thanks to a functioning sprinkler system. Fire crews from Bethany Beach found fire in a heater room area in the unoccupied building. Officials say the fire began in the heater room after a malfunction in the heater system – damage is estimated at $1500.
