UPDATED: Snow Emergency Plans Lifted for Worcester & Wicomico Counties
January 6, 2018
The Maryland State Police have lifted the snow emergency plans in Worcester and Wicomico Counties, however the state of emergency declared by Governor Hogan on Wednesday remains in effect. Police in both counties urge drivers to use common sense and drive carefully. Give yourself extra time to reach your destination – and let family or friends know your route and when you expect to arrive. Watch out for black ice – and remember not all roads have been plowed to pavement and some back roads are still waiting for the plows.
