UPDATED – 9AM – Snow Emergency Plan Discontinued for Talbot, Dorchester & Caroline Counties

The Maryland State Police, Easton Barrack is reporting that due to current weather conditions, the Snow Emergency Plan is currently in effect.聽 The Snow Emergency Plan was implemented at 1:00 p.m. on February 1, 2019.
Once the Snow Emergency Plan has been placed in effect, Maryland Law requires all vehicles to be equipped with snow tires or chains. Additionally, during a snow emergency a vehicle may not be parked on any highway designated as a snow emergency route.
The snow emergency plan will remain in effect until further notice.
