A Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been issued for all of Delaware until 10pm

The National Weather Service in Mount Holly NJ has issued a Flood Advisory for…
Southeastern Sussex County in southern Delaware…

* Until 615 PM EDT.

* At 215 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause minor flooding in the advisory area.

* Some locations that could experience flooding include… Millsboro, Selbyville, Dagsboro, Millville, Henlopen Acres, Long Neck, Ocean View, Frankford, South Bethany and Dewey Beach.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS… Turn around…don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.

A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
