Selbyville Man Sentenced for Armed Robbery in Maryland

A Selbyville man has been sentenced to 20 years in prison for an armed robbery in Showell, Maryland in February. Worcester County Circuit Court Judge Brian Shockley credited 48 year old Antonio Walters for time served since his arrest on February 20, 2023.
Court records show Maryland State Police were called to a Showell convenience store after a black man entered and pointed a handgun at the clerk and demanded money from the register and safe. The suspect took about $1000. Surveillance video from the store and help from the public led police to Walters, who was positively identified by the clerk. Walters pleaded guilty to armed robbery on July 11th.
