Search Warrant At Dover Day Care Leads To Drug & Firearms Arrest
Two Dover residents have been arrested after a search warrant was executed Thursday at the Little Peoples LFCC 2 on Roosevelt Avenue in Dover. The Dover Police Drug, Vice and Organized Crime Unit conducted a drug investigation at the residence which is operated as a daycare. Police arrested 33 year old Cameron Christmas and 29 year old Jessica Cooper and seized 93 grams of cocaine, over 26 grams of crack, 302 bags of heroin, 2 handguns and $32,262 in cash.
Four children were in the daycare when the search warrant was executed just after noon ā they were turned over to their guardians.
Christmas was committed to SCI no $93,100 cash bail on the following charges:
- Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance in Tier 3 Quantity (2x)
- Possession of a Controlled Substance in a Tier 3 Quantity (2x)
- Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance in Tier 2 Quantity
- Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance
- Possession of a Controlled Substance in a Tier 2 Quantity
- Possession of a Firearm or Ammunition by a Person Prohibited (2x)
- Endangering the Welfare of a Child (4x)
- Conspiracy Second Degree
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Cooper was committed to Baylor Women’s Correctional Institution on $49,700 secured bond on the following charges:
- Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance in Tier 3 Quantity
- Possession of a Controlled Substance in a Tier 3 Quantity
- Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance in Tier 2 Quantity
- Possession of a Controlled Substance in a Tier 2 Quantity
- Possession of a Firearm or Ammunition by a Person Prohibited (2x)
- Endangering the Welfare of a Child (4x)
- Conspiracy Second Degree
- Possession of a Controlled Substance
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
