The City of Seaford has a new City manager. Last night the Mayor and City council voted to promote the current assistant city manager Charles Anderson to the position. Anderson has been an employee with Seaford for the past 27 years, the last 10 of which he performed duties of assistant city manager. Anderson was also appointed to the Delaware Water Infrastructure Advisory Council twice by Governor Jack Markell. Mayor David Genshaw says Anderson brings unmatched knowledge of the city along with a sense of direction to the job. Anderson will begin his new position in March.
