Seaford man shot outside Dover nightclub, requires surgery
A Seaford man was seriously injured and requires surgery after he was shot outside a nightclub in Dover.
According to the Dover Police Department, the incident occurred around 1:30 a.m., Wednesday morning when officers were called to the parking lot of Allure Nightclub for reports of a shooting.
Police arrived and learned that three victims were on their way to Kent General Hospital via private vehicles.
The incident is believed to have occurred on property immediately next to the nightclub’s parking lot as the club was closing for the night, when a group of subjects were involved in an altercation and an unknown suspect began firing.
A 28-year-old Seaford man suffered a gunshot wound to his left bicep and will require surgery, a 26-year-old Dover woman suffered a graze wound to the left side of her head and was treated and released, and a 32-year-old female from Dover reported that she was grazed by a bullet on the left hand; however, there was no visible injury and she declined medical treatment.
