Seaford Home Invasion Under Investigation
Delaware State Police are investigating a home invasion that took place early Tuesday morning.
Troopers say on Tuesday, May 7 shortly after 2 a.m. they responded to the reported home invasion in the 8700 block of Garden Lane. Upon arrival, Troopers discovered that the entire residence was ransacked. They say three suspects entered the residence armed with handguns. They say there were four residents inside ranging in age from 10 to 59. One of the victims, a 36-year-old male was assaulted by a suspect. He received minor injures but refused medical treatment.
The suspects are described as black males, armed with handguns, wearing dark cloth and face masks. They ranged in height from 5’06” to 6’00” tall. The suspects gathered an undisclosed amount of cash, two handguns, a surveillance system and a house pet prior to fleeing the scene.
