Seaford contractor seriously injured after falling off a roof

Delaware State Police are investigating an industrial accident that seriously injured a Seaford man after he fell off a roof.
According to State Police, the incident occurred Thursday, around 10 a.m. as troopers were dispatched to Bi-Rite Auto Sale on Sussex Highway in reference to an industrial accident.
Police arrived and learned that a 35-year-old male contractor was on-site working on the roof. He had fallen from the roof and sustained serious injuries.
The victim was initially transported to the Nanticoke Memorial Hospital and later transferred to the Christiana Hospital.
His condition is unknown at this time.
