SB 197 Introduced: Marijuana Expungement Bill

Legislation has been introduced that will provide mandatory expungement eligibility to those who were convicted of possession, use or consumption of marijuana before Delaware’s decriminalization of those offenses in 2015.  This measure would provide relief only to those with no other criminal convictions.  SB 197 is sponsored by Senate Minority Whip Greg Lavelle and House Majority Leader Valerie Longhurst and has 18-co sponsors from both parties in both chambers.
