Saturday’s Rains Bring Localized Flooding

Heavy rains on Saturday left some areas with high water. Dewey Beach saw some flooding on the bayside and on Route 1 in the northbound lanes. There were reports of ponding on Route 113 in Georgetown and in other low lying areas that are prone to flooding. In Milton, businesses are setting up sandbags as the Broadkill brings high water into town.
