Salisbury University Begins Search Process For New President
Salisbury University is taking the next steps to find its tenth president.
A town hall is scheduled for this Thursday at 3:00 p.m. hosted by University System of Maryland Chancellor Jay Perman and USM Board of Regents Assistant Secretary Robert Rauch. Rauch is chair of the S.U. President Search and Screening Committee.

Applicants are invited to apply to join the search committee and are welcome to suggest possible outstanding candidates to become president of Salisbury University.
Charles Wight recently announced that he would retire effective next June 30th, the end of the current academic and fiscal year.
According to a statement from SU:
To facilitate the recruitment of high-caliber candidate pools, searches for USM presidents are closed, meaning the identity of candidates will not publicly be disclosed during the search process. The search will be inclusive and reflect input from the campus and community to ensure selection is the product of stakeholder engagement.聽聽聽聽
