Salisbury Stabbing Suspect Sentenced to 20 Years Behind Bars
February 6, 2019
A Wicomico County judge has sentenced a 44-year-old Delmar man for a stabbing in January 2018.
On January 3, 2018, Jason Jim Larney approached and then stabbed a victim multiple times in the face and left arm in the parking lot of the Tiger Mart in broad day light with witnesses on Spring Hill Lane in Salisbury. The Wicomico County State’s Attorney Jamie Dykes says the victim was known to Larney.
In November, the suspect was convicted by a Wicomico County jury of first and second degree assault and reckless endangerment. Sentencing was delayed, however on Friday, a Circuit Court judge sentenced Larney to twenty years behind bars. He’ll serve his sentence at the Division of Corrections.
