Salisbury Skatepark closing til June for construction

Skateboarders of Salisbury: this is your last weekend to get your grind on at the skate park before the city shuts it down for the next two and a half months. City Officials say the Salisbury Skatepark will close on Monday April 2 for the second phase of construction on the skate park. Debby Stam from the city’s Office of Housing and Community Development tells WGMD contractors will be installing another 42-hundred square feet of “street style elements” into the front of the park. Contractors believe the work should be finished by mid-June, but after Monday: no skating at the skate park until then.
