May 7, 2018
A Salisbury man has been hospitalized for gunshot wounds after he charged police with a knife. Maryland State Police say the mother of 38 year old Justin Marshall requested police transport him to the hospital – she had tried but he ran off, but eventually returned to her home around 2:30 this morning. Police found him in the yard with a knife – and he charged the troopers. When he didn’t stop – troopers, fearing for their safety, fired at him. Marshall is under police guard at PRMC – criminal charges are pending.
