Salisbury Man Sentenced After Crime Spree Breaking into Vehicles

Last month 43 year old Sydney Hopkins of Salisbury pleaded guilty to 8 counts of rogue and vagabond after multiple incidents from January 9 to April 9 of 2018 where he broke into victim’s vehicles to steal purses and use debit or credit cards that were found inside.  A search warrant turned up personal items belonging to the victims in Hopkins home.  Hopkins has been sentenced to 12 years in prison.
