Salisbury Bank Robber Found Guilty

A Wicomico County jury last week convicted 29 year old Hakeem Wrightout of Salisbury on 56 counts, including five counts of armed robbery and five counts of use of handgun in the commission of felony. Wrightout was one of 5 masked individuals who went into the Bank of Delmarva on Eastern Shore Drive on December 9 of 2016, bound several bank employees and stole over $11,000 in cash from the bank – and personal items from the victims. Wrightout was one of 2 suspects who were armed. Most of the personal items and all the stolen cash were recovered. Sentencing was postponed pending a pre-sentence investigation.
