Route 50 Crash in Wicomico County Leaves OC Woman Dead

A crash in Wicomico County Friday afternoon has left an Ocean City woman dead.聽 Maryland State Police continue to investigate but say a car driven by 77 year old Maria Ellis failed to stop for a stop sign on White Lowe Road at Route 50 and collided with a car driven by a Mardela Springs man.聽 Ellis was pronounced dead at the scene and police say alcohol is not a factor in the crash.聽 The 20 year old Mardela Springs man was taken to PRMC with injuries.
