Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony Marks Symbolic New Beginning at the New Howard T. Ennis School
Today’s ribbon cutting ceremony at the new Howard T. Ennis School on Patriots Way in the Millsboro-Georgetown area marked a symbolic new beginning, as Principal Melissa Kansak said in her opening comments…
She adds this charge began with a conversation between staff and former Principal, Kristina Perfetti who passed away in 2021. Together they led this charge, the benefits of which the school is reaping today. This new 94,000 square-foot school for students with moderate to severe disabilities opened on January 3rd of this year. Due to delays in the construction of the therapy pool, the dedication ceremony was postponed until the 2023-2024 school year.
