Wallops Flight Facility is looking towards Sunday morning for the launch of an Antares rocket – will carry Orbital ATK’s Cygnus cargo spacecraft full of about 7,400 pounds of science and research to the International Space Station in support of dozens of research investigations, as well as crew supplies and hardware.  The launch is set for 5:04am – you can get launch updates via the Wallops Facebook and Twitter sites.  Cygnus will remain at the space station until July 15, when the spacecraft will depart the station, deploy customer CubeSats, and then dispose of several tons of trash during its fiery reentry into Earth’s atmosphere.

Launch coverage on NASA TV will begin Sunday at 4:30 a.m. EDT. For NASA TV streaming video, downlink and scheduling information, visit: http://www.nasa.gov/nasatv
