Rehoboth Beach Residents Urged to Conserve Water

City officials in Rehoboth Beach say the hot weather and lack of rainfall has caused record water usage in recent days – much of it due to irrigation use. City officials are requesting irrigation be limited to help conserve water and spread out the demand. Officials ask that water customers with odd-number addresses irrigate on Monday, Wednesday, Friday – and even-number addresses irrigate Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday.
