The City of Rehoboth Beach is welcoming the public’s input on a new Comprehensive Development Plan.

The city is providing residents the opportunity to offer their input on the CDP’s advancement. The Planning Commission has scheduled two initial public workshops on July 20 and August 3, both beginning at 9 a.m. The workshops will focus on reviewing sea level rise and environmental issues and their impact on the City. City officials say Tony Pratt, a consultant specializing in marine erosion and sediment deposition issues will help facilitate the discussion.

The second workshop on August 3 will focus on mixed-use housing in urban development. It will explore expanded use of residential and mixed use structures within the commercial area.
