August 14, 2020/
The Reedville, an ex- Army and Navy ship, was intentionally sunk Thursday.
The Department of Natural Resources says the vessel joined old subway cars, the M-V Twin Capes of the Cape May – Lewes Ferry and chunks of concrete that make up an artificial reef system habitat for marine life.
The Reedville is 180 feet long. The reef is 16 miles off the coast of Delaware.
