Public Health officials warn Angola residents in the area of Camp Arrowhead Road between Marsh Island Golf Club and Angola road that a rabid fox bit a human and a dog earlier this week.  The fox was captured and tested positive for rabies.  The person has begun treatment for rabies – the dog is up to date of its rabies vaccinations and is under quarantine following the exposure.  If you live in the area and believe you or your pet may have been bitten, scratched or come in contact with the rabid fox – contact your health care provider or veterinarian.
