Quantico Man Charged with DUI

A crash Thursday night just before 10pm left a motorcycle rider with injuries – and charges.  Maryland State Police say the driver of an Escape slowed to avoid striking deer that were crossing Nanticoke Road near Catchpenny Road and was struck from behind by a motorcycle.  Police smelled alcohol coming from the motorcycle rider, 26 year old Miguel Valderas of Quantico.  Valderas failed field sobriety tests and was arrested for DUI, negligent driving and other offenses
