PRMC of Salisbury Acquires Crisfield’s McCready Health

Peninsula Regional Health System of Salisbury announced Monday it’s acquisition of McCready Health of Crisfield.
Talk of the merger began about a year and a half ago when McCready Health approached PRHS about how an affiliation may be structured. McCready will continue to provide hospital services in Crisfield throughout the pending regulatory approval process, until around November 1 when PRHS will assume ownership. It will then transition to a Freestanding Medical Facility at it’s current location, according to officials.
The merger is pending final regulatory approval, which is anticipated this fall.
