Princess Anne Drug Dealer Sentenced to 16 Years in Prison

Wicomico County State’s Attorney Jamie Dykes says 34-year-old Charles A. Myers III, of Princes Anne has been sentenced to 16 years of active incarceration on narcotics crimes, assault and firearm possession.

On Wednesday, Myers pled guilty to one count of narcotics possession with the intent to distribute, one count of illegal possession of a regulated firearm and one count of assault in the second degree. Wicomico County Circuit Court Associate Judge Leah J. Seaton sentenced Myers to a total of 43 years, but all but 16 active years were suspended. Myers will also be on 3 years of supervised probation following his release. He was also ordered to forfeit over 4,000 dollars seized in the course of the investigation.

The charges were initially filed against Myers in September of 2017, following a narcotics distribution investigation which led to a search and seizure warrant being issued. Authorities uncovered fentanyl, a loaded handgun and a large amount of money.
